Build strength, flexibility and focus through movement synchronised with breath.
Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic style of yoga in which each movement flows seamlessly from one to the next, guided by the rhythm of your inhale and exhale. No two classes follow an identical sequence, which keeps the practice fresh and engaging and encourages you to stay present on the mat.
Classes build heat gradually, working through standing sequences, balancing postures and floor work before closing with a restful Savasana. You will develop core strength, mobility and body awareness alongside a sense of calm focus that carries well beyond the studio.

Yin Yoga
Slow down, breathe deeply and release tension held in the body's deepest layers.
Yin Yoga is a still, contemplative practice that contrasts beautifully with more active styles. Postures are held for several minutes at a time, allowing gravity and breath to work gradually into the fascia, joints and connective tissue that quicker practices rarely reach.
This is a restorative and introspective class — you will spend most of your time close to the floor, supported by props where needed. It is an excellent complement to a busy lifestyle, a more vigorous yoga practice or any physically demanding sport. Expect to leave feeling quietly energised and deeply at ease.

Beginners Yoga
Your first steps into yoga — taken at a pace that is clear, welcoming and wholly without pressure.
If you have never tried yoga before, or have tried it briefly and felt unsure where to start, this is the class for you. Beginners Yoga introduces the foundational postures, breathing techniques and alignment principles that underpin all styles of yoga — taught clearly and without assumption that you already know anything at all.
Classes are kept intentionally small so that teachers can offer individual attention and ensure you feel confident and comfortable throughout. You will leave with practical techniques you can use straight away, and a solid platform from which to explore other classes at Harbour Yoga Studio when you feel ready.

Pregnancy Yoga is designed specifically to support your body and mind as they change during pregnancy. Postures are carefully adapted to be safe and comfortable at every stage, with particular attention to relieving common discomforts such as back pain, fatigue and breathlessness, and to cultivating the calm and confidence that serve you well in labour and beyond.
Classes offer breathing and relaxation techniques drawn from yoga tradition that are directly relevant to birth preparation. This is also a welcoming community where you can connect with other expectant mothers in Brighton. We ask that you let us know how many weeks pregnant you are when you book, so your teacher can tailor any postures to your needs.
